How does the recruitment process work example they ask for your legal documents then test you for asvab how ?

long does this process work and how long does it take before your actually on the military bus to bootcamp? Please someone explain?

1. they know everything about you the information they contain is scary.
2. the entire process is entirely depndent on you as to how long it takes. but assuming you dont need any sort of waivers then from ASVAB to ship out could take anywhere from 10-14 days. although i have had DEP's wait as long as 365 days before ship out, these were usually seniors though.
3. It depends upon which branch you are trying to enlist in.I know the Marine Corp side of it. first you say u want to join. then they do a full back ground check, (ei. medical, legal, and schooling). Then they drug test you and send you to the nearest MEPS office where u do a FULL medical physical. then after this you will take your first oath to serve your country. then you will be offically in the DEP (Delayed Entry Program). you can pick you MOS or job at this time then you just wait for your ship date to boot camp where your fun begins....
